Destination Hancock

Picture of the Week

The Culprit on Camera “We have a turkey decoy outside in our lawn and today it had a visitor,” writes Johni Gotthardt who sent along some photos to show just who that visitor was. After returning from work on Thursday, April 18, Gotthardt said she noticed the turkey decoy was moved and then checked her trail cam to see just what had gone on in her absence. She thought a coyote had taken off with the decoy because that’s usually what carries it away, she said. But the Candid Camera revealed differently. Gotthardt said she was excited to see a bald eagle communing with the decoy instead of a coyote—but from now on she will be sure to keep her Jack Russell terrier at close range when outside.
